Hello wonderful people,
I just officially finished my finals for this fall semester and I’m super content of how everything worked out. I’m so grateful to have had such amazing professors who actually care about their students and teaching! Which can be a difficult thing to find sometimes.
Anyways, a couple of weeks ago on Black Friday, I saw that Women’s Best was having a 50% off sale on all of their sports nutrition items so I decided to snag a couple of things to test and review for y’all! Women’s Best products have been consuming the social media world from Instagram fitness models and influencers so I thought that this was a perfect time to try out these products myself and to put them to the test.
I managed to get my hands on their Vanilla Vegan Protein Powder, Beauty Collagen Drink, Coconut Protein Bites, Protein Crisps, Protein Power Cookies, and Small Shaker 20oz Cup!
So without further ado, let’s get into this review!
Firstly, I wanted to begin off with explaining my experience of shipping and handling with Women’s Best. It did take about 3 weeks of shipping which I’m assuming was because of their large Black Friday sale so this didn’t really bother me. However, when I first opened my package, I noticed that there was some collagen drink powder that spilled out of the package and it was spread throughout the box. I also found it interesting that there was no seal on either the protein powder or collagen drink containers which a lot of other products normally have.
The Vegan Protein Powder
I’ve been using Vega’s Vegan Vanilla Protein powder for a while now and I absolutely love everything about it so when I initially drank the Women’s Best protein powder, there was definitely no “grainy” texture that you’ll feel when drinking a Vega protein drink. I really enjoyed the taste because it had a simple and nice vanilla flavor. I would assume that it would go great in a smoothie as well! So for taste quality I would give it a solid 8/10.
However, when comparing the general content quality to the Vega brand, I would say that Vega has a lot more to offer because of the additional “greens” that they contain. But Women’s Best does have 1 more gram of protein and 5 additional servings vs. Vega which only has 20 grams of protein and 25 servings.
Overall, I would recommend Women’s Best Vanilla Vegan Protein drink because it contains a nice taste, mixes well, and gives no bloating. I would purchase this item again in the future, but I feel like I can get more out of my buck within content quality out of a different brand. Their vegan protein powder also comes in chocolate and unflavored! (FYI, they gave you a free small shaker so that’s a plus!)
Beauty Collagen Drink
When I first opened this collagen drink the strawberry scent hits you first which is very inviting and delicious-smelling! This is my very first collagen drink powder so I’m excited to see if this actually provides results. Here’s the list that Women’s Best provided that this drink offers…
I’m hoping this really does work because I need a little help in each area mentioned above! When I first tasted the collagen drink, the strawberry flavor isn’t as strong as it smells and didn’t really give me any other impression. So for taste quality I would give it a 6/10.
I will be sure to provide additional feedback in a couple of weeks for y’all to see if my hair actually does grow longer and thicker, stronger joints and improved skin quality.
Coconut Protein Bites
The coconut protein bites were definitely a win within my book because of its simple and coconut taste. They are filling so only a few will satisfy your cravings. There’s also not a strong protein taste that takes over which is a plus. My rating for these protein bites are a 7.5/10 because I’m not usually a coconut person but it was still really delicious!
These protein bites also come in chocolate, cookies & creme, and strawberry! Which I’m sure I’ll try them all eventually in the future for $2.99.
When I originally opened the Salt & Vinegar chips, there was at least 10-12 chips in this bag and all air. Kinda disappointing and I know that most chip products are like this so I’m not surprised but it’s still a sad thing to see! However, these chips contain 11.2 grams of protein and 4.0 grams of fiber. These salt & vinegar chips definitely had a strong salt taste so be prepared to have a lot of water on the side. My rating for these chips are about a 4/10 (I can live without them status).
The Cheese & Onion flavor were also pretty tasty in my book and satisfied my craving for a good flavored chip. Not too cheesy or oniony! My rating for these are a 4.5/10.
Protein Power Cookies
This chocolate chip cookie dipped in extra chocolate was definitely a pleaser within the chocolate area. I would recommend this to anyone with a sweet tooth and it actually tasted better than the Complete Protein Chocolate Chip Cookie because the Complete Protein cookies always smell like the plastic pouch that they come in which can be unsatisfying at times. In addition, they come in a pouch of two, so only one was good enough for me! My overall rating for these cookies are a 7.5/10 and I would most likely buy them again.
These protein cookies also come in coconut, lemon and white chocolate for $2.49!
Small Shaker 20oz Cup
I would admit, that this shaker is cute because of it’s smaller looking size and pink cap however it didn’t include a shaker ball which most protein cups include. It did take me some time for my protein and collagen drink powders to dissolve because there was no ball which seriously helps! Overall, it’s just a cute shaker. My rating for shaker quality is 4/10.
Overall, the products from Women’s Best definitely tasted great and I know I’ll for sure purchase the protein cookies and bites in the future. Comment below if you’ve tried any of their products! I would love to hear your thoughts on other brands as well. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed this blog post and until now, I’ll see you later.
